Dr. Heejoo Pyon brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to HP Dental. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Dr. Pyon moved to New York City in 2005. After graduating from NYU College of Dentistry in 2009, Dr. Pyon began her dental career in an underserved Brooklyn neighborhood, fostering a dedication to serving diverse communities. She then moved to a private practice in midtown Manhattan, providing care to dignitaries and representatives of the United Nations.
For the past ten years, Dr. Pyon has been the dedicated leader of the HP Dental team. Her practice philosophy emphasizes meticulous attention to detail and minimally invasive techniques, ensuring optimal results with patient comfort at the forefront.
Dr. Pyon actively seeks out continuing education opportunities to stay on top of her field. Dr Pyon’s commitment extends to those who have faced hardships, as she has taken specialized elective courses on treating patients with a history of political persecution and torture.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Pyon also holds a faculty appointment at NYU College of Dentistry, where she contributes to the education of future dentists.
