  • Two-visit process

The tooth will be prepared by cleaning any decay and taking the impression of teeth. The dentist may apply a temporary filling for protecting the tooth from further damage. One-visit process

The tooth will be prepared with good cleaning but in this case the dentist will make use of digital technology instead of taking impressions. This is what makes it different than the conventional two-visit inlay/ onlay procedure.
